SwsVpkt (ver 1.0.0.5) Abandoned Freeware The SwsVpkt Virtual Packet Driver provides an implementation of the packet driver specification, enabling DOS TCP/IP networking applications to run inside a Windows 2000 or XP Command Prompt window. The driver can be added to either a wired NIC or a wireless NIC (you must also launch "SWSVPKT" inside the Command Prompt before starting your network application). With some slight additional configuring, it can also work with a dial-up network connection. In addition, SwsVpkt also enables Win32 user mode programs to perform raw Ethernet frame I/O (this is useful to build packet sniffer applications, or to send raw IP frames).
