NTOLDAPP (ver 0.90b) Abandoned Freeware NTOLDAPP is a emulator that allows DOS programs which can talk to the Windows 3x/9x clipboard via the "WINOLDAP" API to also talk to the Windows 2000 clipboard. NOTE: Windows 2000 does NOT use Real DOS, but instead emulates a DOS prompt with a NTVDM (Virtual Dos Machine). This "sandbox" is very limited however, in that is was designed so DOS programs could not directly access much of the system hardware (sound card, COM ports, etc.). Emulators such as NTOLDAPP work around this issue by providing a VDD (Virtual Device Driver), which appears to a DOS program as the real hardware device.
