NWSnake Screen Saver (ver 1.0a) Abandoned Freeware The NetWare Snake screen saver is a 32-bit tribute to the screen saver that shipped with Novell Netware servers. In the original NW screen saver the length of the snake changed with the server load, and as the load grew, so did the snakes tail. Multiprocessor machines displayed multiple snakes on the screen, each in a different color. This screen saver only displays one snake, and the length of the tail does not change. The snake color is orange, to simulate the appearance of a monochrome CRT monitor. "NWSNAKE.SCR" should be placed in the "WINNT\system32" folder (assuming a Win2k OS). To activate the screen saver, go to the "Display Properties" dialog (you can reach it by right-clicking on the desktop in Win2k, and selecting "properties" from the menu), select the "Screen Saver" tab, and choose "NetWare Snake". Tip: The snake looks nicer at a LOWER screen resolution.
